Synhouse Policies


     Several convenient payment options are available for customers buying from Synhouse Factory direct: MasterCard, VISA, bank-issued VISA check card, and American Express. Off-line mail orders may be paid by MasterCard, VISA, bank-issued VISA check card, American Express, money order, cashier's check, personal check, company check, or international money order in US dollars. C.O.D. orders and bank wire transfers are not accepted.

Order Shipment: 

     Orders are shipped from stock within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Orders and correspondence received on Saturday and Sunday will be addressed/shipped on the following Monday and included in that day's business. When ordering, please include your daytime telephone number, e-mail or fax number to allow shipping staff to contact you if there should be any concerns regarding your internet order. Instructions for off-line ordering can be found under How to Order.

Shipping Charges:

     When orders are placed online with Synhouse Factory Direct, Synhouse pays all shipping charges to addresses worldwide, unless such addresses are unreachable by the company's preferred shipping carrier, in which case special shipping arrangements must be made via email and customer will pay actual shipping costs. Synhouse will notify customers prior to shipment if these conditions exist.  

Handling Charges: 

     When orders are placed online with Synhouse Factory Direct, there are no handling charges.

Sales Tax:

     Customers will not be charged sales tax when orders are placed online with Synhouse Factory Direct. Synhouse is a Nevada Corporation and pays sales tax for all customers in the state of Nevada. Orders shipped outside Nevada are not taxable. Synhouse does not remit sales tax to states other than Nevada.

International Orders:

     In addition to the United States and its territories, Synhouse also accepts orders from other countries paid by MasterCard, VISA, bank-issued VISA check card, and American Express. International C.O.D. orders and bank wire transfers are not accepted. All orders of international origin are exported from the U.S. in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. Law is prohibited. No additional handling charges apply to international orders. All duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the customer. Synhouse will not provide fraudulent customs declaration documentation for the purposes of evading duties or tariffs. Synhouse cannot accept letters of credit, personal checks or certified personal checks in foreign currency for international orders. A cashier's check or international money order in U.S. funds will avoid processing delays.

Out of Stock:

     Customers will be notified via email within 24 hours if ordered merchandise is backordered. Orders placed with Synhouse Factory Direct not available for immediate shipment will be shipped on a first-come, first-served basis as soon as the merchandise becomes available. If customers do not wish to wait for fulfillment of a delayed order, a full refund will be issued when order cancellation/refund request is received via email.

Return Policy:

     Synhouse will accept merchandise returns and will replace the product or refund the purchase price. In some cases, Synhouse will make a refund of money in lieu of product replacement due to logistical constraints, available stock, or other concerns.

In order to facilitate return processing:

  • Prior to returning merchandise, please e-mail Synhouse to request an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number. Clearly state the reason for return and date of purchase.
  • Write RMA number on outside of box or envelope used to return merchandise to Synhouse.
  • Merchandise sent without RMA number will not be accepted.
  • Merchandise shall be returned to address provided in email containing RMA number, which may be different than original order fulfillment shipping address.
  • All returns should be made within 30 days of purchase and be accompanied by a brief written explanation of the reason for return.
  • Return freight charge must be prepaid. C.O.D. returns cannot be accepted.
  • Return merchandise in original packaging and in resalable condition.
  • Merchandise returned due to customer error may be subject to a restocking charge of 25%.
  • Defective merchandise may be returned within 90 days of purchase and need not be in original packaging.
  • Return policy does not alter the right of Synhouse Multimedia Corporation to refuse sale to anyone at its' discretion. All Synhouse products are tested carefully and meet or exceed all claimed specifications. Although any customer may return merchandise for replacement or refund, the expense encountered by returning good merchandise may warrant future refusal of sales to specific customers in specific situations.

Dishonored Check Policy:

    If a check sent to Synhouse for payment is dishonored for any reason by the bank or other institution on which it is drawn, the customer agrees to pay Synhouse $20.00 as a service charge (if the check cannot be redeposited). In addition, customer agrees to pay any other reasonable charges imposed by any check verification company or collection agency that Synhouse may use for collection.

Freight Damage:

     If you receive merchandise that has been damaged in transit it is important to keep the shipping carton, packing material and parts intact. Contact Synhouse for returned merchandise authorization as explained above.


     Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice and quantities may be limited.

Product Liability:

     The sole obligation of Synhouse for products that prove to be defective within 90 days of purchase will be for replacement or refund. In no event shall the liability of Synhouse exceed the customers' purchase price, nor shall Synhouse be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to products which have been subject to misuse (including static discharge), neglect, accident or modification, or which have been soldered or altered by the customer and are not capable of being tested. DO NOT USE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY SYNHOUSE AS CRITICAL COMPONENTS IN LIFE SUPPORT DEVICES OR SYSTEMS! Products manufactured by Synhouse are not authorized for use as critical components in life support devices or systems. A critical component is any component of a life support device or system whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to cause the failure of the life support device or system, or to affect its safety or effectiveness.

Right To Refuse Service:

     Synhouse Multimedia Corporation reserves the right to refuse sales and service to any company, group, or individual at its' discretion for any stated or unstated reason at any time.

     Synhouse does not disclose customer e-mail addresses or mailing addresses to any third parties without the consent of the customer.

Environmental Policy:

     Synhouse uses no Styrofoam materials in packing and shipping. However, packing peanuts or bubble wrap received by Synhouse in shipments from component suppliers are never thrown away and are always recycled and reused as packing materials for shipments to Synhouse distributors, dealers, and customers. Recipients of these parcels are urged to do the same. Synhouse prints no hard copy paper catalogs.
